FAQ

Questions we are asked before a program starts

The answers below describe the standard account in the Greater Toronto Area. Particulars for a site are confirmed in writing in the proposal.

What is the smallest office you will take on?

The practical minimum is about 25 people attending a single site on a typical weekday. Below that, the delivery and maintenance cost outweighs a workplace program, and we will usually suggest the King Street counter or tray pre-orders instead. Several smaller addresses under one organization can be combined so that the account as a whole meets the minimum even if no single floor does. The assessment will say plainly if a site is too small to run well.

Do we buy the machine or do you?

Either arrangement is available. If you buy or already own the machine, you hold the asset and we maintain it on Managed or Full service, or we supply goods only on the Supply tier. If we place our equipment, the machine remains ours, the proposal includes a service charge that covers it, and we collect it when the program ends. Ownership changes who pays for a replacement after a total failure and who decides when a chassis is retired. It does not change the 48-hour fault standard.

How quickly can a program start after we sign?

Ten business days is the standard from written acceptance to the first scheduled delivery, provided water, power and access are already in place. Lead time shortens when the site already has serviceable machines and a loading-dock slot. It lengthens when electrical work, a drain or a building induction has not been booked, or when a machine has to be ordered rather than drawn from stock. The proposal states the critical path for the site as surveyed.

What happens when a machine fails mid-morning?

Call +1 416 362 4418 and give the site, the station and a short description of the fault. We treat it as a weekday emergency and attend within 48 hours. If the repair will take the station through a second morning peak, we place a loan machine or switch the floor to the filter reserve we specify at install. Staff are asked to stop using a machine that is leaking or tripping a breaker rather than keep pulling shots until we arrive.

Can you cover multiple addresses on one account?

Yes. One organization may hold several addresses on a single account and a single monthly invoice. Each address keeps its own delivery days, standing order and station list. Meeting service and fault tickets are coded to the address so that a facilities lead can see where the activity sat. All addresses must fall inside downtown Toronto, North York, Etobicoke, Mississauga and Vaughan.

Do you handle dietary and allergen requirements?

Oat, almond and soy milks are part of the standard pantry set and carry no surcharge at the counter. Decaffeinated espresso and a herbal tea are available on request. Allergen information for kitchen items and for tray orders is supplied in writing when you ask before the service. We are not a nut-free, gluten-free or kosher kitchen, and we will not certify a floor as such. Closed dietary programs that need a dedicated production line sit outside our scope.

How is pricing structured?

Workplace pricing is a variable line for coffee and consumables plus a fixed service charge. The variable line moves with volume; the service charge does not move with a quiet week. On Managed and Full service there is no hidden call-out fee for planned maintenance or for faults inside the 48-hour standard. Meeting labour is itemised when it occurs. Exact figures are stated only in the written proposal, which remains valid for thirty days.

Can we book the counter for a morning meeting?

The quiet room at 150 King Street West can be reserved for morning meetings of up to ten people. Slots run 90 minutes between 07:30 and 10:30, Monday to Friday. A confirmed booking includes the table, water, coffee and tea for the named headcount. Confirmation is required in writing by 15:00 the previous working day. Groups larger than ten should book tray or barista service in their own rooms rather than the quiet room.

Who provides the baristas and how are they briefed?

Baristas on Full service and on booked meeting work are Morningbrewcorner staff, not agency labour. They are briefed on the host’s access rules, dress standard and room list before the first shift, and they complete any building induction you require. They do not enter closed zones unless the pass and the booking allow it. Cover for leave is rostered by us so that a floor is not left without a person on an agreed hour.

Do you publish client names?

No. We do not publish client names, logos, headcounts or volumes, and we will sign a non-disclosure agreement in the client’s form where it is reasonable. That is why this website carries no named case studies, no testimonials and no ratings. Illustrative setups on the home page are planning examples, not references. If you need a confidential conversation about a comparable floor, ask for it in the site-assessment request.

If your question is about a specific floor, send the headcount and we will answer in writing.
